About VLCAN_ART

Jeremy Vlcan is an artist, entrepreneur, and father based in Omaha, Nebraska. His work is rooted in a love for the outdoors and a lifelong curiosity about the world around him. Inspired by the Tonalist tradition, Jeremy focuses on capturing mood and light—those quiet, in-between moments that often go unnoticed.

He spends much of his time exploring nature, paints in hand, aiming to reflect the feeling of a place rather than just its shape. Whether working on a hillside or in the studio, his approach blends traditional landscape painting with a steady sense of experimentation.

Jeremy studied fine art at the University of Iowa and trained under painters Joan Furrow and Andrew Peters. He continues to see each painting as a way to slow down, look closer, and learn something new.
